Until we let him get popcorn we had him convinced that our pediatrician had moved his office to the movie theatre... a surprise early Friday afternoon pick-up resulted in a screening of Black Panther on opening day instead of an appointment to check a bad patch of eczema.

Mama had to be away for work for Valentine's Day but she left a box of chocolates for her little lady valentine, which was evidently enjoyed for breakfast as evidenced by Darby's chocolatey smile.

Kindergarten parties are the best! Passing out valentines, reading stories, playing games, and doing crafts with Daddy volunteering in the classroom should be how everyday is started, at least according to Ewan!

February is literacy month at Ewan's school and they kicked off the fun by dressing up as their favorite literary characters - Ewan dressed up as Old Man Fookwire from "Those Darn Squirrels!"
