52 : 47 (part 2)

Ewan is a big lover of breakfast, and on most weekends we eat hot cakes as a special treat. He celebrates this once a week indulgence with the cutest "hot cakes, hot cakes" dance, and this past week double fisted, juice and milk, in celebration.

52 : 46 (part 2)

Kevin always talks about how he can't wait to do science expirements with Ewan. One of our favorite places to visit is the California Academy of Sciences, we joined when pregnant with Ewan and now he runs from the taxidermy lion yelling "roar" to the live penguins eating their morning treats. His school focuses on various curriculums throughout the week, and they definitely see a curious budding scientist in our boy!

Our little helper! He picked the noodles up off the shelf, carried them to the self checkout, scanned the barcode, grabbed the receipt, and carried them to the car. If only we could get him to pay :)

52 : 44 (part 2)

This picture was captured by Kevin while I traveled to New York for work... getting an almost 2 year old to cooperate for a photo shoot post-nap and pre-park is a tough task. If anyone could do it Kevin could, but this boy made it tough on him :) The soon to be 2 year old is definitely feeling the need to exercise his independence, explain when things are "mine", and test our response to more frequent "no" replies to our requests. At the core Ewan is still 95% sweet and loving, but that 5% is definitely in to testing the mama and the daddy this month!
